Responsibilities
Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders using appropriate imaging techniques.
Consider patient-specific needs, including age-related and other special considerations, to produce optimal images.
Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors and patient treatment as part of image acquisition.
Required Qualifications
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire, Or Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire, Or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 6 months of hire.
New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
