MRI Technologist – Providence Milwaukie

Responsibilities The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient’s special or age-related needs. The technician uses knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.
Qualifications
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements.
Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire or Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
National Certified MRI Technologist – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months of hire.
New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
