Board Certified Psychiatrist Position Summary
Reserve Health is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. This full-time, primarily in-person clinical role involves direct patient care and oversight for a multidisciplinary team within a diverse practice setting, including correctional medicine, outpatient services for first responders, and traditional outpatient psychiatry. The psychiatrist will play a critical role in managing psychiatric care for adults and children, with a focus on adult populations, while contributing to the management of outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including outpatient psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy, to:
Male and female inmates in a county jail with a population of approximately 650. First responders (police and fire personnel) requiring psychiatric support. Traditional insurance-based and self-pay outpatient psychiatric patients.
Oversee and provide clinical guidance to a team of:
1–2 Psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). 2 Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs).
Share on-call responsibilities (approximately 7 days per month), offering phone consultation (currently averaging
Manage psychiatric conditions across a lifespan (children and adults), with a primary focus on adult patients. Assist in the management of patients enrolled in outpatient MAT programs. Participate in limited telemedicine consultations as necessary. Collaborate with the leadership to establish and meet clinical and administrative performance goals. Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and clinical standards. Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and clinical decisions in accordance with organizational policies and standards. Schedule
Scheduled times and days are negotiable. Clinical responsibilities are primarily in-person, with some telemedicine as needed.
