Impact Ventures is looking for a mission-aligned, strategic, and values-driven Director of Operations. This leader will have the essential role of overseeing internal operations and fostering a trauma-informed and collaborative team culture. The Director of Operations will be pivotal in aligning people, processes, and systems to support the organization’s growth and revenue-generating initiatives. Your influence will extend to designing and implementing robust operational systems. This role demands a commitment to strategic planning and the capability to translate organizational goals into actionable team-level plans. Additionally, continuous improvement and the standardization of processes across departments will fall under your purview. The Director of Operations will also spearhead efforts to cultivate a culture steeped in equity, empathy, psychological safety, and accountability. As part of the leadership team, you’ll contribute to and lead cross-departmental collaboration to streamline priorities, thus reducing silos and enhancing the overall organizational workflow. Responsibilities
Design and implement efficient operational systems to support growth and sustainability. Lead strategic planning processes and develop team-level execution plans. Develop and track KPIs, OKRs, and monitor operational performance. Drive process improvement and standardization across teams. Model trauma-informed care principles in leadership and team management. Cultivate a workplace culture of equity, empathy, and accountability. Lead DEI and culture-building initiatives. Serve as an operational bridge between various departments. Optimize revenue-generating operations through strategic alignment. Collaborate with finance and development teams for budgeting and reporting. Requirements
5–7 years of experience in nonprofit operations or related environments. Experience in managing people and building a culture in line with trauma-informed frameworks. Strong project management and organizational development skills. Familiarity with tools like Asana, Airtable, Salesforce, Microsoft365, QuickBooks, etc. Benefits
