A leading investment office is seeking an Investment Accounting Director to join its Boston team. Reporting to the COO, this role will oversee portfolio operations, investment accounting, reporting, and cash management, while also contributing to operational due diligence, tax matters, and special projects. The Investment Accounting Director leads monthly close, portfolio accounting, and performance reporting; manages cash activity, reconciliations, and reporting; liaises with third-party administrators and oversees fund onboarding; supports annual audit, tax filings (990T, K-1s), and operational due diligence reviews; and prepares budget reports, surveys, and peer analyses. Responsibilities
Lead monthly close, portfolio accounting, and performance reporting Manage cash activity, reconciliations, and reporting Liaise with third-party administrators and oversee fund onboarding Support annual audit, tax filings (990T, K-1s), and operational due diligence reviews Prepare budget reports, surveys, and peer analyses Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred 5+ years in accounting and/or investment operations (asset management experience a plus) Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Team-oriented with high integrity and attention to detail Compensation
$160,000 – $190,000 base + up to 50% bonus Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 remote (Boston-based, occasional travel) How to apply
