Chief Financial Officer – Private Equity-Backed Industrial Services Platform (Metro Detroit) Multi-Site Field Operations | PE-Backed Growth | Systems & Integration Focus Our client, a rapidly scaled industrial services platform with a national footprint and blue-collar DNA, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO and private equity sponsor in scaling a multi-location platform. The company operates across critical end markets—supporting infrastructure, commercial, and specialty field services—with 75+ operating sites and a growing base of loyal customers. Following its partnership with a top-tier middle-market private equity firm, the company has completed 15+ acquisitions and is entering its next phase of operational integration, system upgrades, and financial rigor. The CFO will play a key leadership role in refining reporting infrastructure, managing M&A execution and leading systems upgrades to support scale. Key Mandates: Own financial strategy, reporting, and controls across a distributed, operationally intensive business Lead ERP and systems upgrades to improve visibility, reporting accuracy and scalability Support ongoing M&A (valuation, diligence, integration) and align acquired entities with platform standards Build a lean, capable finance function that thrives in a high-urgency, hands-on environment Ideal Candidate Attributes: 10–15+ years of finance leadership; 5+ years as a CFO or senior finance executive Background in industrial services, field operations or complex, multi-site businesses Demonstrated success in private equity-backed environments, especially post-acquisition integration Comfortable in blue-collar, entrepreneurial cultures—can engage credibly with both boardrooms and branch managers Systems-oriented thinker who thrives on improving infrastructure and enabling growth through process discipline Note:
