who will apply RF/Microwave system theory and design to help develop the next generation of Raytheon’s Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter products. What You Will Do Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters. Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.). Work with interdisciplinary teams – power, digital, mechanical, etc. Schematic capture and RF routing. Provide technical support during the transition to production and ongoing production activities. This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 3 years’ of prior work experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test. Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required post-start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, SystemVUE and/or MentorGraphics' Xpedition. Experience translating system performance and operation specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications. Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, which includes yield and margin analysis. Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges. Experience in cost and schedule management. Experience in technical / proposal writing and oral presentations.
