We’re building an enduring home for wonderful software companies. We acquire mission-critical vertical SaaS companies ($1-5M ARR) and unlock latent growth potential with AI & fintech. We’re a team of former investors from Accel, backed by leading technology investors including Reef Pass, Prosus Ventures, Accel and the founders of Mainsail and TCV. We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic finance leader to build and lead our portfolio-wide finance operations. You will manage budgeting, KPI tracking, consolidated reporting, covenant compliance, and post-acquisition integration support. You’ll work directly with our founders to build a world-class finance function. Key Responsibilities
a. Strategic Finance & FP&A Lead consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Define and track KPIs across each Portco and roll up to the Recur level Drive insights across growth, churn, unit economics, net retention, and margin b. Accounting and Tax Oversight Manage monthly close calendar and accounting policies across Recur and Portcos Own consolidated financials (actuals, budgets, variances) and annual audit process Work with our tax and structuring advisors to optimize tax efficiency and cross-border considerations c. Debt Compliance & Reporting Own all deliverables under our credit agreement (monthly, quarterly, annual) Coordinate with Portco accountants and auditors Produce and submit compliance certificates, board packages, and lender updates d. Financial Due Diligence & Portfolio Finance Integration Help with financial due diligence on potential targets where required Stand up finance stack (forecasting, dashboards, close processes, standardized reporting) at newly acquired companies Collaborate with external accountants on closing process, purchase accounting, etc. What We’re Looking For
6–10 years in finance, FP&A, accounting, or corp dev (finance focus) Experience with multi-entity / multi-currency consolidation process Familiarity with SaaS, M&A (FDD focus) and roll-ups Strong understanding of debt covenants and compliance Bonus: experience with cross-border tax and structuring What Success Looks Like
Accurate consolidated financials monthly within 10 days Proactive lender updates and covenant compliance with zero misses Robust annual budget and re-forecast process with buy-in from Portco GMs Location
Based in Chicago or New York, or willing to relocate. Compensation
