Finance & Accounting | Project-based Consulting | Permanent Placement | Executive Search | Finance Transformation We are currently looking to bring on a Controller as a consultant for our clients! This is a temporary role with the potential to extend. Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team during the transition period. Assess current systems and processes, recommending improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on financial matters. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred. 8–12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including prior Controller or Assistant Controller roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks). Proven ability to step into a dynamic environment and provide immediate value. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Consulting or interim/transition experience is a plus. Temporary/contract role (3–6 months, with potential extension). Full-time hours, hybrid or on-site depending on client needs. Competitive hourly/consulting rate. Details
