With over 16 years of experience serving small to medium size business and municipal clients, this firm is expanding due to strong growth. They deliver managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity on the Island. You’ll join as a Level 2 Client Support Engineer based in Long Island, working from the office or on-site 3-4 days out of the week. Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities will include: Server and Network support for customers. Hardware repairs, software installation, virtualization, various types of Firewall/VPN setups, and support as needed in a Windows 7 – 11 and Server 2008 – 2016, 2019, 2022 environment. Setting up and maintaining Windows Servers and Desktops in a LAN/WAN environment. Mid to advanced knowledge in Windows server design and implementation with VMware or Hyper-V Microsoft 365 and Azure Server implementation and management experience Experience with hypervisor implementation, tuning management, and troubleshooting, including V2V and P2V migrations Active Directory and Group Policy administration Requirements
Experience in IT support, MSP, or similar role Ability to connect with and build rapport with clients Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Positive, professional demeanor and reliable commute 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance Generous PTO 401(k) with safe harbor match Certification reimbursement and training programs Must live within a 45-minute commute Seniority level
