Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for key business units Partner with the Shared Service Center ensuring compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies and procedures. Serve as Business Partner to Business Operations leadership in order to achieve business objectives Perform operational statistical and metrics tracking and comparative analysis of long-term financials, evaluate financial performance and make recommendations to drive reaching business unit objectives. Comprehend accounting, interpret financial reports, and understand key concepts (e.g., cash flow and profit margins) to make sound business decisions to drive strategic choices that align with financial goals Partner with Operational and Business leaders to ensure monthly/quarterly financial forecasts, long term plans and annual budgets are aligned to achieve corporate goals To effectively communicate business results, leverage data mining and other tools to gain a thorough understanding of the detail behind, revenue, expense, profits, etc. Lead continuous improvement initiatives through timely identification of areas in need. Compile and analyze financial information related to month-end close in partnership with the Shared Service Center Own the review and timely reporting of financial statements Support internal/external audits. Perform special projects as needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting required. 7+ years of relevant work experience. Ability to identify and resolve complex finance and accounting issues Perform off-cycle financial analysis as needed Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills Able to effectively prioritize assignments and meet deadlines with accuracy Proven strategic and critical thinking skills Ability to grasp and resolve complex issues Able to identify innovative solutions to financial or operational business events Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of US GAAP. Seniority level
