Jr. Financial Program Analyst

in

Washington, DC (Navy Yard) . Position Description

This is an exciting opportunity to support PEO IWS 2 for In-Service Radars in the area of Acquisition, Financial, and Project management of radar systems. Current DoD Secret or be eligible to obtain the appropriate clearance Responsibilities and Duties

Engage in Project Management support by liaising with the Radar Community, including PAPMs, BFM, and the various System Support. Provide Financial Management through developing and tracking 7300s, OPPs, Task Planning Sheets, and Spend Plans. Review DOD guidance and policy for applying and implementing In-Service Radars. Develop PowerPoint presentations and agendas, coordinate meetings, track cost risks and action items, and write meeting minutes. Engage in configuration management by monitoring the status of Task Planning Sheets and Spend Plans using the Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS). Support the review and update of Program budgets through the FYPD. Required Qualifications and Skills

One year of experience Financial experience with Budgets, Estimating, and Task Planning Sheets. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. Personal computer skills (competent with MS Office applications, specifically Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables). Desired Qualifications and Skills

BS degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting Familiar with shipboard installation processes. Knowledgeable in developing Excel macros and Power Query. Experience with Financial Management databases (ERP, PRISMs, RAMS, NEPS) Travel Requirements
