Mammography Technologist-15K Sign On Bonus — Join to apply for the Mammography Technologist-15K Sign On Bonus role at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This is a 36 Hour, Full Time opportunity. We are offering a $15,000 Sign On Bonus incentive. New hourly rates apply. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Breast Imaging Manager/Supervisor, perform all technical procedures within breast imaging to obtain high quality images; ensure imaging systems operate at accepted standards and are properly maintained; perform required quality control on imaging equipment and devices; manage imaging datasets (e.g., transfer, archive, and retrieval); maintain all necessary records and reports in a correct, timely, and efficient manner.
Deliver safe and effective imaging procedures; participate in departmental education programs and QA/QI activities; participate in organizational and departmental goals and priorities; actively participate in QA/QI activities.
Maintain patient, staff, and environmental safety; maintain infection control; ensure patient understanding of procedures; assist with operational duties such as monitoring patient flow while utilizing scheduling and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Collaborate with Imaging professionals, nursing and technical staff, providers, investigators, and their staff to foster a culture of excellence, impact, and discovery in cancer care.
Perform all other duties as directed; may require periodic travel to other imaging locations (e.g., Mobile Mammography Van, Whittier Street Health Center, Chestnut Hill, etc.).
Ensure imaging systems are properly maintained and compliant with regulatory standards; participate in quality assurance/quality improvement (QA/QI) programs.
Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited imaging technology program (e.g., Radiography, Nuclear Medicine).
One to two years hospital-based experience preferred.
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License/Radiography category.
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License/Mammography category, or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
Current ARRT Radiography (RT-R) registration.
Current ARRT Mammography (RT-M) registration, or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
Current BLS certification or must obtain an active BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
