Acute or Acute Adult-Geri Nurse Practitioner
will perform H&P's on newly admitted patients on behavioral health inpatient units and will follow through on other medical illnesses. Essential Functions
Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, as needed Participates in agency-wide training programs and in-services Provides quality and timely clinical documentation, per Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies’ requirements Proficiency in interpersonal communication and interdisciplinary teamwork Experience and skill in treating patients with various types and presentations of psychiatric/behavioral health disorders Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years of nursing experience; a psychiatric/behavioral health background is preferred. Must have a
Master's, postgraduate, or doctoral degree
in an
Acute or Acute Adult-Geri Nurse Practitioner
program accredited by the
CCNE
or the
ACEN
(formerly NLNAC). Eligible for
Acute or Acute Adult-Geri Nurse Practitioner
certification through the
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) . Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and display excellent oral/written communication skills. Previous adult behavioral health and substance use treatment experience is preferred. Salary
Salary Range : $115,000 to $143,619 annually Employment Details
