$93,600.00/yr - $129,600.00/yr This role will drive branch business growth, build a new team of 5-10 staff from scratch focusing on import/export operations and sales function, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery across all forwarding and supply chain activities. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans, managing key client relationships, achieving KPIs, and ensuring operational excellence while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Branch Operations Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring all logistics activities meet company standards for efficiency, quality, and profitability. Business Development & Client Management:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and strengthen relationships with key accounts to drive revenue growth. Team Management & Development:

Lead, coach, and mentor import and export operations and sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Profit Achievement:

Accelerate branch revenue growth by securing and retaining high-value customers, consistently meeting or surpassing sales and profitability targets. Employee Training & Development:

Implement structured training programs to enhance employee skills in freight forwarding, compliance, customer service, and safety. Ensure teams are well-prepared to meet evolving industry requirements. Strategic Planning & Execution:

Develop and implement branch-level business plans, operational strategies, and KPIs aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring measurable results. Operational Excellence:

Monitor workflow processes across forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and project logistics; identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to optimize service delivery. Financial Management:

Control branch budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure targets for profitability, cost efficiency, and revenue growth are achieved. Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including customs, transportation, and hazardous materials handling; enforce strict safety and quality standards. Market Analysis & Innovation:

Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities, recommend new services, and implement innovative solutions. Collaboration with Senior Leadership:

Provide regular updates, reports, and recommendations to executive management to support company-wide strategic decisions. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred for better communication with Head Office and clients. Minimum 8 years of experience in global logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing 5+ staff. Experience in M&A in logistics industry is highly preferred. DG certificate is preferred but not a must. Proven track record of achieving business growth, operational excellence, and financial targets in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills, with experience managing multiple teams across sites. Deep knowledge of both import and export ocean/air freight forwarding operations, FTL/LTL transportation management, warehousing, project logistics, and international shipping regulations. Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Strong commercial acumen, including client management, negotiation, and business development experience. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building lasting relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety, and quality standards across all operations. Having legal working status in the U.S. Able to work onsite Monday to Friday.
