ER RN Job Details – Boston, MA
Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, Emergency Department
Position Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/5/2025 – End: 1/3/2026)
Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours
Shifts: 12 Hour Nights; Day/Night rotating shifts
Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays required
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 4 years of RN experience in acute care or emergency nursing
At least 1 year of travel nursing and Level 1 Trauma Center experience
Emergency Room RN certification (preferred)
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Completion of all onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, skills checklist, etc.)
ER RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions as needed
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Educate and support patients and families during critical situations
