Job Title: Locum Tenens Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts 02215
Healthcare Setting: Obstetrics Postpartum Inpatient Unit
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Locum Tenens)
Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070
Contract Duration: 16 weeks (September 22, 2025 – January 10, 2026)
Start Date: Monday, September 22, 2025
Holiday Coverage: Required (seasonal coverage)
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience in an inpatient healthcare setting
Prior travel nursing experience required
BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
Experience with magnesium drips and telemetry highly preferred
Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months if previously employed (perm, per diem, or travel)

Flu vaccine required during onboarding
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns in an inpatient hospital setting
Monitor and manage patients receiving magnesium drips and telemetry
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
