Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field Active clinical license in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) 5+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in a PHP/IOP setting Clinical supervisor credential preferred Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical operations and staff performance Ensure documentation and treatment practices meet regulatory and payer standards Lead clinical supervision, case reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings Partner with leadership to support care continuity and program outcomes Help with staffing, recruitment, training, and scheduling Maintain a safe, ethical, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff Preferred Background & Skills
Familiarity with ASAM criteria, DSM-5, trauma-informed and co-occurring care Training in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, or other evidence-based models Experience with HIPAA compliance, Joint Commission standards, and EMR systems Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Passion for client-centered, innovative treatment models
