Director, Business Development – Healthcare Partnerships
We’re seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking
Director, Business Development-Healthcare for the Central/Midwest Region
to drive revenue expansion and build long-term partnerships within the healthcare sector. In this individual contributor role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy by identifying, engaging, and closing high-impact opportunities with hospitals, health systems, and healthcare organizations nationwide.
Responsibilities
Cultivate a robust pipeline of healthcare prospects and new partnership opportunities, focusing on establishing deep cross-functional relationships at the executive level.
Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership to design custom solutions tailored to client challenges and operational goals.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to increase visibility and market presence.
Own and drive the full business development cycle—from outreach and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and client feedback to inform product offerings and business strategy.
Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to healthcare clients, helping articulate our value proposition to clinical and operational leaders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or related) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare business development, strategic partnerships, or consultative sales leadership.
Demonstrated history of securing new enterprise-level relationships with hospitals, integrated health systems, and/or GPOs.
Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and align solutions with healthcare performance drivers such as patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance metrics.
Strong familiarity with Joint Commission standards, HCAHPS, and value-based care initiatives.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently throughout assigned regions.
