Position: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Location: 555 Washington Street, San Diego, CA 92103
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $31/hr - $49/hr

Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture appropriate images. Operate radiologic equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues. Process requisitions for ordered exams in a timely manner and schedule exams accurately. Perform diagnostic Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, and CT exams on patients in the department and with portable equipment. Ability to inject IV contrast media, as needed. Perform a variety of examinations, reconstructions, and printing protocols. Identify equipment failures to diagnose general problems with radiographic machines and processors. Explain procedures to patients and answer questions related to equipment or procedures. Move and transport patients to and from the department as required. Order necessary supplies and maintain par levels. Attend required in-services and orientations. Work closely with floor staff to facilitate excellent patient care. Minimum Qualifications
At least two (2) years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required). Must have ARRT or CMRT certification. Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date. Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure. Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable. Seniority level
