Position Overview The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a Neurologist with expertise in tertiary-level epilepsy care to join our team.
Responsibilities
Staffing the epilepsy clinic and epilepsy monitoring unit
Interpreting routine and hospital-based EEGs, including continuous EEG monitoring
Performing intraoperative electrocorticography
Managing neurostimulation devices (VNS, RNS, DBS)
Conducting epilepsy surgery evaluations, including stereo-EEG, subdural electrodes, and functional brain mapping
Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Engaging in educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows
Opportunities for clinical and research pursuits
Qualifications Candidates must be board-certified in Neurology, Epilepsy, and Clinical Neurophysiology. Clinical neurophysiology training should emphasize EEG and include surgical evaluation experience.
