Ohio-based Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Nephrologist to join its expanding care team. The hospital has two advance practice providers and four pediatric nephrologists who diagnose and treat children and teens with kidney and kidney-related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stone formation,pheresis services, kidney failure, and pre- and post-transplant care. A kidney dialysis and renal care center for children and teens supports those with kidney failure. Responsibilities

Join an established nephrology team to diagnose and treat pediatric patients with kidney and kidney-related diseases. Manage conditions such as high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, nephritis, and kidney stones. Providepheresis services and care for patients requiring dialysis or renal replacement therapy. Contribute to pre- and post-transplant care in collaboration with the transplant team. Collaborate with two advance practice providers and four pediatric nephrologists to deliver comprehensive care. Qualifications

Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Nephrology. Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio. Benefits
