in Newport Beach, California. This role involves leading a new, state-of-the-art radiation oncology center, overseeing startup and ongoing operations, and expanding clinical programs within the USC network. Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing clinical standards, developing referral networks, and implementing advanced radiotherapy technologies. This leadership position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology and plays a crucial role in integrating community-based radiation oncology services with USC's academic and research missions. Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the clinical operations and quality standards of the new radiation oncology practice in Newport Beach. Build relationships with local referring providers and expand patient volume. Implement and manage new radiotherapy technologies and clinical programs. Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and research activities. Minimum Qualifications
Board Certified Physician (MD or DO) with a California Medical License. ABR certification in radiation oncology. Possess a California Fluoroscopic supervisor’s license. Experience in an academic medical center or community setting in oncology. Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience as a medical director or in a similar role. 7-10+ years of clinical experience in high-volume settings. Strong network-building and relationship management skills. Academic experience supporting faculty appointment considerations. Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary ranges from $450,000 to $625,000, commensurate with experience, plus potential incentive compensation. USC offers a comprehensive benefits package.
