Overview
Project Director – Data Center New Build in Virginia. This senior leadership position is responsible for overall project delivery, from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in mission-critical construction, with expertise in managing large project teams, complex stakeholder groups, and the unique requirements of hyperscale and colocation data center projects. Responsibilities
Serve as the executive lead for all aspects of the data center project, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Lead and mentor project teams including construction managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors. Establish project budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships. Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and local authorities to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations. Enforce best-in-class safety culture across the project site. Qualifications
15+ years of progressive construction management experience, with at least 5 years at the Project Director or Senior Project Manager level. Proven track record leading large-scale data center or mission-critical new build projects (>$300M preferred). Strong knowledge of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, commissioning, and redundancy requirements specific to data centers. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Compensation
Base pay range: $240,000.00/yr - $280,000.00/yr Additional compensation: Annual Bonus Application
