3-6 month contracts, with option to extend Start dates are generally every other Monday and are scheduled based on credentialing/privileging completion. Hospital-wide orientation lasts about 7 days, followed by discipline-specific orientation with the medical director. The Electronic Health Record used is Wellsky. Pay: Local: $160/hr, weekly based on 40 hrs/week is $6400 Travel: $170/hr blended rate, including $140.96 taxed, $18.72 housing stipend, and $10.31 per diem. Weekly rate based on 40 hrs/week is $6800, with $5638.40 taxable, $748.80 stipends, and $412.80 per diem. Documentation for credentialing includes immunization records, diploma, residency and fellowship certificates, medical licensure, board certification, DEA certificate, NPI, driver’s license, SS card, and CPR/BLS/ACLS certificates. Medical and Psychiatric Care Job Responsibilities include: Monitoring patient progress, assessing psychiatric and medical conditions, diagnosing, and modifying treatments Ordering tests and diagnostic procedures Justifying use of seclusion and restraint as needed Performing mental status examinations Managing an assigned clinical caseload Consulting with supervisors and specialists, making referrals Participating in hospital-wide OD rotation
