Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist to join the Obstetrics and Gynecology team.
We are seeking an individual who values evidence-based care with a strong emphasis on patient safety and resident education. The Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist will work assigned shifts (12-13 hours) and serve as a clinical supervisor in labor and delivery, the gynecology unit, operating room, and emergency department, in collaboration with nursing leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as on-site clinical director of Labor & Delivery, collaborating with the Director of Obstetrics, Director of Obstetric Nursing, and Chairman of the Department. Supervise the care of resident clinic patients and patients without an attending physician. Attend and supervise the care and deliveries of patients whose attending obstetrician is not available.

An academic appointment with MSU CHM is available, providing access to a range of university resources. The department also has a Research Committee to support faculty academic pursuits.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited OB-GYN residency program. Board Certification in the specialty. Interest in teaching.
