full-time
position provides routine and emergency dental care, assessment, diagnosis and treatment to offenders incarcerated in the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC). Responsibilities include professional diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology in routine and emergency settings; dental care across diagnostic, preventive, restorative, periodontal, endodontic, oral surgery and prosthetic services; development of individual patient treatment plans; treatment coordination with outside providers and internal peers; and participation in clinic operations, infection control, record keeping, and scheduling. Collaborate with other health care professionals, participate in committees, and assist in developing policies, standards or guidelines; provide clinical guidance to dental staff and supervise clinical tasks as required by the Dental Practice Law. Maintain offender health records, respond to grievances, and ensure compliance with statutes and professional standards in dentistry. Location-specific note:

Applicant must possess a current, valid Dentist license issued by the Colorado Dental Board. Work Experience:
