This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from Albuquerque, NM. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, manage territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and focus on customer needs to maximize sales performance. Operate within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, laws, and regulations. Responsibilities
Deliver sales performance, meet or exceed KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives. Create pre-call plans and evaluate post-call to improve sales effectiveness. Handle objections and concerns effectively to close sales. Build trusted customer relationships by proactively understanding and serving customer needs and expectations. Develop and execute call plans to maximize coverage and sales opportunities. Gather and share market intelligence on customer needs, competitors, and market dynamics to align strategies. Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition and develop disease state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, business, or relevant industry experience; at least five years of experience if no degree. Proven leadership, presentation skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking. Ability to adapt selling approach based on customer behavior and operate effectively in a matrix environment. Preferred: Experience in sales within therapeutic areas, pharmaceutical industry, and in-depth scientific knowledge. English proficiency required. Must meet HCIR credentialing requirements, including background checks, immunizations, and licenses. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening and meet safe driving standards. Key Stakeholders
External: Healthcare professionals in the therapeutic area, pharmacists, nurses, others. Internal: In-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer service, and brand teams. Additional Information
The compensation range is $78,500 - $192,500, based on experience and location. Benefits include paid time off, insurance, 401(k), and participation in incentive programs.
