Overview
Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain at
Royal Caribbean Group . This full-time role is on-site in Miami, Florida and reports to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain. The position conducts and coordinates analyses to support Supply Chain operations decision making and prepares evaluations, reports, and analyses of financial plans and operating forecasts, reviewing financial data for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist with developing and tracking annual operating G&A and Capital budgets. Prepare routine reports on department financial performance vs. budgets. Assist with preparation of monthly Capital Labor entries in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies. Prepare departmental key monthly and quarterly SOX Controls and liaison with Internal Audit. Prepare Departmental quarterly 10Q/10K Contractual Obligations disclosure. Work with Capital Project Managers to certify capitalization of quarterly activity and provide CIP updates to accounting. Report on weekly Invoice in Disputes (IIDs) results for the department. Develop and prepare procure-to-pay process trainings as required, including being the subject matter expert on IID resolution procedures and contractual commitments disclosures. Oversee the departmental credit memos process (analysis, reports, processing credit memos, answering questions and assisting the Management team). Assist with ongoing maintenance and development of the corporate budget planning and analysis tool. Supports special projects and ad-hoc analysis needs by providing financial controls and analysis. Participate in the development of the department’s annual budget. Understand monthly variance analysis to identify reasons for actual vs. forecast differences. Ensure expenses incurred by the department stay within budgeted dollars while maximizing use of financial resources to aid in the department and organization’s goals. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university. Minimum 3 years related financial and/or business analysis experience. Strong analytic skills. Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with all employee levels. Familiarity with internal controls and audit procedures. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and computer skills. Advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Essbase (SmartView), and Hyperion strongly preferred.
