Site Directors
to lead our
School Age Child Care program
(grades 1–5). This leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all children enrolled in the program. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily program operations, ensuring safety, structure, and engagement Supervise and support a team of Group Leaders and Senior Group Leaders Coordinate program activities, schedules, and logistics Communicate regularly with school partners, families, and YMCA leadership Monitor attendance, behavior, and overall child well-being Ensure compliance with licensing and YMCA policies Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with school-aged children in a licensed or structured program Bachelor’s degree in education, recreation, social services, or equivalent experience CDA or college coursework in education or related field preferred At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience fostering an environment for children of all abilities is valued.
