The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham's unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group offers primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, urgent care, outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion, at locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Our Cardiology team provides outpatient care for patients at high risk of heart disease, including diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, and preventive care. We focus on compassionate care in a community setting while utilizing the latest technology in diagnostic testing and treatment strategies. We have a large team of board-certified cardiologists with extensive experience and offer services to care for complex patients.
Job Summary We are seeking a Full Time 40-hour, Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support Cardiology Clinics in Upton and Chestnut Hill. Clinics are located at 236 Milford St. Worcester Street in Upton and 300 Boylston Street in Newton.
The NP will support the practice's panel of patients, enhance practice operations, increase patient volume and efficiency, and provide excellent patient care and experience. Providers work autonomously to the top of their licensure while also functioning as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Support a panel of patients in Cardiology clinics and enhance practice operations.
Increase patient volume and efficiency while delivering high-quality patient care.
Work autonomously to the top of licensure and collaborate as part of a clinical team.
Qualifications
Education
Master's Degree in Nursing required
Experience in lieu of degree: No
Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse (RN) – state license (HR Only preferred)
Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – state license (HR Only preferred)
Experience
Experience as a nurse practitioner 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings
Ability to maintain quality control standards
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies
Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
