The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health is seeking
Hematologist Oncologists with a sub-specialty focus in Thoracic Oncology
to join our growing team of employed providers in a non-profit organization. Corewell Health's Cancer Center is a collaboration across Corewell Health West Michigan and community providers. We specialize in treating complex cancers with individualized treatment plans. Based out of Grand Rapids, with the opportunity to expand across Corewell Health West Michigan, this program includes more than 150 board-certified physicians representing more than 17 oncology specialties, multispecialty teams and tumor boards with integrated staff. Corewell Health also has a comprehensive radiology program with port placement. Corewell Health Cancer Program offers: Multispecialty Teams Screening & Prevention Supportive, Integrative & Palliative Care Diagnostic & Treatment Services & Clinical Trials 11 Comprehensive Programs Specialized Radiation Oncologists Breast Diagnostic Center Nurse Navigation, Palliative Care Services, Psychiatric Oncology, Cancer Rehab Corewell Health is working toward NCI designation Corewell Health is scheduled to launch a Hematology Oncology fellowship training program in 2026 Physician candidates must be board eligible/board certified in Hematology Oncology. Experience with clinical trials is a plus. An academic appointment at Michigan State University is available commensurate with experience. Qualifications
Required Doctorate LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required About the Hospital
