RN Supervisor Job Details

• Location: Newburyport, MA 01950 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital – Nursing Administration
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel RN Contract)
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 20, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Night Shift (Friday & Saturday, 7pm–7am)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,700 - $2,770
  
  

Registered Nurse Supervisor Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN Nursing Admin Supervisor
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccine required for new staff starting 9/2 (no declinations accepted)
• Must not have worked perm/travel/PRN for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months
• Facility is not accepting local candidates
  
  

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

• Serve as RN house supervisor, managing bed assignments and patient flow
• Coordinate nursing staff and provide clinical support as a resource nurse
• Support hospital nursing teams to ensure high-quality patient care delivery
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond to emergent situations and deliver administrative support during night shifts
