Job Details

• Position Type: Locum Tenens Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Clinic – Pulmonary Care
• Location: Auburn, NY 13021 (Central New York nursing jobs)
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends, no on-call)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13-week RN contract
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1700-$1820

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• At least 1 year of recent outpatient clinic RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Travel nursing or locum tenens RN experience preferred
• Ability to pass a proctored EKG exam on Day 1 of contract
• COVID-19 vaccine not required; must provide proof of vaccination or declination per facility guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient pulmonary clinic setting
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient care and maintain electronic health records
• Participate in specialty-specific pulmonary procedures as needed
• Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and infection control protocols
