  • Hours: Full-time (37.5–40 hours/week)
  • Shift: 8-hour shifts; days and evenings; every other weekend and holidays required
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $900–$970
  • Number of Positions: 1

CNA Qualifications

  • Active New York State (NYS) Nursing Assistant Certification
  • BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA or in a long-term care (LTC) setting
  • Willingness to work through the holiday season (no time off on holiday dates)

CNA Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct resident care as outlined in care plans, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, turning/positioning, and skin care
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents; promptly respond to call lights and alarms
  • Assist with residents\' nutritional needs, including meal delivery, tray preparation, feeding, and honoring dietary preferences
  • Support residents\' rehabilitative and mobility needs, including range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices
  • Accurately document care provided and resident observations according to protocol
  • Report resident rights, refusals, concerns, and changes in status to the Charge Nurse promptly
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures; occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated
