Overview

Customer Service Representative (CSR) at David’s Bridal. The CSR is responsible for interacting with customers with a friendly, positive, authentic, empathetic, and professional approach to deliver a Five-Star Customer Service Experience. Reports to the Store Manager, in partnership with the Operations Supervisor/Manager. Supports the welcome desk, cash wrap, systems/processes, inventory management, and daily routines to ensure an excellent store environment and an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm via phone, virtual chats, and in person; communicate clearly and concisely; problem-solve and resolve conflicts; adapt communication style to the customer.
  • Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver Five-Star Customer Service.
  • Maintain service vows: Be Prepared, Welcoming, Meet Needs, and Be There for all customers; complete operational checklist tasks and support emotional and practical needs.
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and contribute to the store’s Five-Star Service goals.
  • Proactively address customer concerns; know when to escalate and partner with leadership.
  • Explain alterations and promote alteration services and personalization options in partnership with Alterations.
  • Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience and dress code compliance.
  • Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Engage in inventory procedures by processing orders, receiving, and ensuring quality standards for merchandise.
  • Support cash wrap processes and accurately transact to ensure customers feel celebrated.
  • Assist with sales promotions and visual updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Credentials

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel, service, or a specialty store environment.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear customers. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance viewing and computer/electronic device usage for extended periods.
