Vice President of Financial Reporting Prominent investment management firm Financial Services The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Reporting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate valuations of companies, securities, and intangible assets across various industries. This involves utilizing proprietary quantitative valuation models, conducting in-depth market research, and managing valuation engagements from start to finish. The role also includes supervising junior staff, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-ready valuation reports. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years' of experience in a valuation or accounting firm is required, with a strong background in financial reporting, accounting, and valuation issues. Direct experience in ASC 350/805 is a must, and a background in financial valuation modeling and common stock option valuations is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with online databases and internet research.
