is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Phlebotomist
to perform blood collection and specimen preparation for diagnostic testing. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to patient comfort, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a laboratory or clinical setting.
Job Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and other specimen collection techniques safely and efficiently. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens to maintain specimen integrity. Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation of specimens collected. Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis in accordance with established protocols. Provide clear instructions to patients regarding specimen collection procedures when necessary. Maintain phlebotomy equipment and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards at all times. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
required; completion of a formal phlebotomy training program preferred. National certification
(ASCP, NHA, or equivalent) preferred. Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting preferred. Knowledge of venipuncture techniques, specimen handling, and safety protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients of all ages.
