Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 - End: 1/5/2026) Nursing Shift:
Day shifts, 3x12-hour (Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:30pm) Hours per Week:
36 Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1990-$2130 On-Call:
Required, 5-8 calls per month (including weekends and possible holiday call) Charting System:
EPIC Parking:
Convenient garage parking available for a small registration fee CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience in a hospital setting Ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac, general operating room, and vascular cases Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact nursing license BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Radiation badge (provided by agency) Experience with EPIC electronic charting system Community hospital experience required; Level I/II Trauma and LTAC experience preferred First-time travel nurses not preferred CVOR RN Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate for complex cardiac surgeries, including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve replacements, heart and lung transplants Support general operating room and vascular cases as needed Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical care in a fast-paced surgical environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays Adhere to hospital policies, including emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June-November)
