• Job Title: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Locum Tenens Travel RN
• Location: Marquette, MI 49855 (Michigan travel nursing job)
• Facility: 225-bed specialty care hospital
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/19/2025 – End: 1/18/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910-$1960
• Housing: Multiple furnished housing options available for travel nurses

PCU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette, MI to qualify for travel RN status

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a travel nurse
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, vital signs, and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
