Overview

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Night Shift – Marquette, Michigan. This travel nursing opportunity offers 12-hour night shifts and the chance to work in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Contract)
• Location: Marquette, MI 49855 (Upper Peninsula)
• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a 225-bed specialty care hospital
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025 – End: 12/8/2025)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $1960

RN Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan or compact state (required for Michigan nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
