• Location: Orangeburg, SC 29118
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Emergency Department
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (October 7, 2025 – January 6, 2026)
• Nursing Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00pm – 7:00am), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1530 - $1640
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (pending accepted with proof of application)
• Required Certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred: CPI and TNCC certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional emergency care to patients of all ages: neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Assess, triage, and manage patients based on acuity in a fast-paced ER environment
• Perform advanced ER nursing procedures: arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, IV sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, and more
• Respond to trauma cases including neuro-trauma, ortho-trauma, STEMI, stroke, and traumatic injuries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response
• Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
