Locum Tenens Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Night Shift Jobs in Providence, Rhode Island

Operating Room RN Job Details

• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Location: Providence, Rhode Island 02905
• Unit: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week, every 3rd weekend, no holidays, no call
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 – End: 12/06/2025)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 – $2,420
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN license (must be maintained throughout assignment)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to circulate and scrub for urgent, emergent, and STAT C-sections
  
  

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver primary nursing care for surgical patients in the Operating Room
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Circulate and scrub for C-sections and other urgent/emergent procedures
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate progress
• Ensure compliance with American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
