Location: Facility in Columbus, Ohio

Job Details: 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, OH. Opportunity to positively impact patient lives while joining a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients; recognize and respond to changes in condition
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care nursing standards
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses; communicate changes to the provider
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters)
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education
• Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills
• Physical ability to lift/move equipment (50-100 lbs) and perform related tasks
