OVERVIEW OF THE HR MANAGER ROLE:

• Lead recruitment and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
• Partner with leadership to design and implement training and development programs.
• Oversee performance management and provide guidance to managers and staff.
• Act as the primary resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
• Develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction and organizational culture.
• Supervise a Training & Development Coordinator.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HR MANAGER:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 5-7 years of HR experience (non-profit or mission-driven experience a plus).
• Master's degree and/or HR certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
