Summary

This role/job will be actively involved in Performance Test Engineering activities for the Enterprise. As a performance tester/engineer, this role entails performing a variety of performance capabilities ranging all the way from NFR collection, down to performance test scripting, test execution, monitoring, analysis, engineering, triage, and results reporting.

Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Location

Onsite 3 days a week; Hybrid – Office location is Charlotte NC

Eligibility

Required Pay Scale: $65-70hr W2

Role Requirements

• Skilled in performance testing tools, methodologies, and deliverables (experience leading work efforts in all aspects of performance testing including requirements, planning, complex scripting, test harness design, test execution, results analysis)
• Exhibits triage ownership / leadership ability (own issue resolution, direct triage, drive participation and discussion, execute clear communications, strong organizational skills)
• Solid understanding of software development and architecture concepts (.NET, Java/JEE, code review, code analysis, architectural/enterprise integration patterns, 3-tier architecture)
• Proficient in Python programming and understanding of data types, control flow and functions

Required Skills

• Minimum of 7-15 years in Performance Testing with strong expertise and experience in:
• LoadRunner (Performance Center)
• Dynatrace
• Splunk
• Python
• Requirements gathering
• Proactively leading triages and driving to solutions
• Analytical abilities with heap and thread dumps
• Solid understanding of software development and architecture
• Expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and understanding end-to-end web performance metrics
• Experience with monitoring and profiling tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWR reports to monitor, gather, and report application performance on Windows or Linux systems
