Overview

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist when needed.
• Check out customers and deter shoplifters; act as the main front-end security presence.
• Keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; complete sales preparation.
• Make display changes according to company guidelines; implement all out-front price changes and ensure sale materials are in place.
• Remove sale materials when sales end and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager to complete the store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Cashier duties: check out customers purchasing front-floor merchandise in a quick and friendly manner; handle merchandise returns; assist during busy periods by completing tickets and processing payments as needed.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

• Required: Good aptitude for working with numbers; good interpersonal communication skills; good organizational skills.
• Desirable: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience; ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
