We are seeking an energetic and reliable Production Assistant to support a high-energy Screaming Booth Activation. This role involves guest interaction, basic tech support, and filming participants inside the booth. Ideal candidates are outgoing, tech-savvy, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced event environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and guide guests as they arrive at the activation booth
  • Explain the experience and ensure participants understand how it works
  • Operate basic video equipment (phone, DSLR, or mounted camera system) to film guests inside the booth
  • Perform light tech setup and troubleshooting, including checking lighting, mic levels (if applicable), and recording settings
  • Ensure smooth guest flow and queue management
  • Reset booth between participants to maintain cleanliness and functionality
  • Handle on-site issues or questions professionally and escalate when needed
  • Collaborate with the event team to ensure the activation runs on time and maintains a high energy vibe
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of the booth as required

Qualifications

  • Previous event or production assistant experience preferred
  • Comfortable with basic tech (lighting, cameras, tablets, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive, approachable, and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Dates: October 4, October 11, October 18, October 25, October 31 (all dates required)

Rate is $19/hr
