Club Sports Coach

Responsibilities

• Teach technical skills and coach the sport during practices and competitions.
• Prepare club members to participate in the sport.
• Ensure all club participants comply with Sport Club risk management requirements and understand and implement provided risk mitigation strategies.
• Attend an annual training to learn about Duke University and Sport Club policy and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Counsel and advise Sport Club officers on club direction and operations; provide opportunities for leadership and personal growth of participants.
• Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants of all skill levels, backgrounds, and identity groups.
• Possess or obtain a valid American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

• Experience: OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
