Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Tier 1 & 2 desktop user support.
  2. Provide support for HUD Baseline desktop and Microsoft Office Suites.
  3. Perform network printer/Multi-Function Device installs, upgrades & problem diagnosis.
  4. Perform LAN Administration for Windows 200x servers.
  5. Install workstation and file server software and hardware - locally and via remote.
  6. Diagnose and resolve LAN configuration problems.
  7. Evaluate and diagnose cabling, software and hardware problems.
  8. Install and support telecommunications hardware.
  9. Basic LAN troubleshooting skills/tools – TCP/IP, Trace-route, NBSTAT, PING, or other duties as assigned.
  10. Email user support.
  11. Data backup and restoration.
  12. Provide technical support for webcast/video teleconferences.
  13. Security patches and software upgrade surge support.
  14. Support technology upgrades – both hardware and software.
  15. Provide problem tracking support (CA Service Center) – end-user desktop/server support.
  16. Perform field office visits.
  17. Perform root cause analysis.
  18. Perform desktop/server decommissioning.
  19. Documentation of standard IT processes and procedures.
